    1. If you keep them covered with oil a good long time. I put some into ziplocs, flattened them out with little air in the bag, with a tablespoon of oil last year and froze them. They didn’t hold their shape real well but when I chopped them up and added them to black olive tapenade the tapenade took on a whole new meaning.
