  1. Dear Tom: I have to reply on this one. I am from Maryland and we get the “Blue Crab”…. from the Chesapeake Bay. Our crab cakes have very little filling and you never freeze them. This recipe is “not” the All-American Crab Cake! Just had to comment on this one. Bonnie
