  1. I like finding new yet tried & true recipes for trout! Only bcuz I’m usually a catch & release person… those darn trout swallow hooks beyond repair. That equals dinner

  2. First-rate photo and a well-told narrative to boot! I think the first “real” dinner I learned (taught myself) to prepare was bacon-wrapped brook trout. The prosciutto is a nice touch, and reminds us that one day we need to try the fishing in the mountains of Italy or perhaps Croatia. Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Wulff… a hatch… a tumbler with a little Scotch in it… nice.
